iPhoneAccording to a report by All Things D, Apple's iPhone is now the best selling smartphone for Verizon and AT&T.

To that we say a big, collective, DUH! Add in the revelation that T-Mobile (a non-authorized iPhone carrier) now admits they have over one million unlocked iPhones on their network!

So what's going on here?

Well so far we know that:

  • AT&T's number one selling phone is Apple's iPhone
  • Verizon's number one selling phone is Apple's iPhone
  • T-Mobile admits to having over 1 million unlocked iPhones on their network

It's a very safe bet to say that the iPhone is the number one phone out there, period. Forget the polls and bullsh*t put out by Android fan-boys — the fact is the iPhone is dominating the market, period.

If the AT&T and T-Moblie merger goes through, Sprint will be the only major US carrier not to sell the iPhone or iPad. Ooops. I guess those black and white ads with Sprint's CEO, Dan Hesse, carry a more overt message of how behind the times they really are.
