MacBook Air Graphics Bug
The new MacBook Airs are fast and light, but they currently come with a few software bugs. We have already talked about one of them here at T-GAAP, but there are more.
Many of these bugs are minor annoyances that should be solved in the next update to Apple's operating system, Lion, but there is one bug that needs more than just an operating system update.
There are several reports online that describe a problem with brush icons that do not display correctly in graphics applications. At certain sizes, the cursor will display the incorrect size of brush and it will be offset from the actual location. Changing the cursor to non-brush shapes will still result in incorrect placement of the cursor position.
I have tested this with Photoshop, Aperture, and Pixelmator and found they all exhibit the exact same behavior. Other users have tested it with Lightroom and found the same result. Since the same behavior is happening in all these applications, it must not be an application issue. This bug has not been reported with any other Mac product, so it does not look like an operating system bug. Also, Apple's updated Mac OS 10.7.1 does not correct the problem. Since the brushes function correctly except for the cursor display, it appears to be a graphics display driver issue. Hopefully, Apple will issue a display driver update soon. We will let you know of fixes to this issue with an update.

I am also having this problem. In my case, it happens in CS5 (photoshop especially) and also in Apple's Aperture—although it's the smaller brush cursors that cause a problem. All my brushes smaller than 82 pixels (81 pixels and below) have this problem. The cursor is offset from where it applies the effect and it does not show it's bounding circle. Driving me nuts! Happens on my 13" i7 Macbook Air running 10.7.1. It does not happen on my 2010 Macbook Pro.

I have same problem with MBA 11", osx 10.7.1, and Lightroom 3.5.
